SAN ANTONIO — Help equip thousands of local students with the tools they need to thrive this school year!

The Stuff The Bus campaign is happening now to collect school supplies for kids in need across San Antonio and surrounding areas. Communities In Schools of San Antonio, in partnership with KENS 5 and H-E-B, is the non-profit organization behind this campaign. For 40 years, they have helped connect students and their families to needed resources like school supplies, technology, counseling and emotional support.

Due to the efforts of many community supporters, thousands of local students are provided with the tools they need to be successful. School supplies are available to all students year-round at over 120 school campuses that Communities In Schools of San Antonio serves.

WAYS TO DONATE

Here's how you can help Communities In Schools of San Antonio reach their goal for the 2025-26 school year:

• Click here to donate securely online NOW through August 15.
• Donate at the H-E-B checkout line using the tear pads at the register or by adding a donation to your curbside order until August 26.
• Text BUS25 to 50155 to make a monetary donation. Perry Homes will match the donations raised up to $5,000!
• Participate in Stuff The Bus Day by donating school supplies at your local H-E-B on Saturday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Come meet the KENS 5 team at H-E-B at U.S. 281 and Evans Road (20935 U.S. Highway 281 N., San Antonio, TX 78258) on Saturday, August 2, from 8 a.m. to noon!
